Passalacqua to embark on first full national tour

Following on the success of last summer’s album CHURCH, Detroit rap act Passalacqua are preparing to embark on their first full-scale national tour. The duo of Blaksmith (Brent Smith) and Mister (Bryan Lackner) will join Height Keech and Eze Jackson for the inaugural North American edition of the Rap Round Robin. This annual tradition, which began in Baltimore, was formulated to “eradicate the dead air and general lameness of rap shows, and inject some fun into things.”

The premise behind the Rap Round Robin is to bring together three touring acts (as mentioned above) with three local acts in each of the cities on the roster. Three stages will be set up around the perimeter of the room in each venue, and each act does one song per round, before passing it on to the next act in the circle. There are no headliners or opening acts, and the program promises “non-stop action.”
