Valley Hush share “Iris,” first single from upcoming debut album

Like the ’80s starlets of yore through a broken looking glass, Valley Hush’s first single “Iris” from their upcoming debut full-length is a synth-heavy roller coaster. Producer/multi-instrumentalist Alex Kaye and singer/lyricist/percussionist Lianna Vanicelli released a teaser for the song last week with visuals from artists Clinton Sinder & Tony Katai.

The group puts it best: “Through the intense highs and lows of living, we choose what we see and what we absorb. We can either shrivel up and become trapped or move on and progress as a stronger being. If we remain open and honest even through pain and vulnerability, we are able to recognize and connect with the strongest energy that binds us all together and experience the authenticity of love.”

Valley Hush are a beast of their own breed but with foggy reminiscences of Grimes, Chromatics, and local friends Gosh Pith. Check out “Iris” below and keep your eyes and ears peeled for the act’s debut album out later this year.
