After nearly four years without a new release, a slew of lineup changes and a family death, Flint Eastwood has triumphantly returned with a brand new single – “Find What You’re Looking For.”

The new track comes from the band’s long-awaited EP Small Victories, which harnesses the “Syblyng” songwriting power of Jax and Seth Anderson. “Find What You’re Looking For” is an emotional interpretation of the last words from Anderson’s mother to her, and a stark contrast from Flint Eastwood’s past work.

The track pushes Anderson’s ambient vocal layers to the forefront and keeps time with chanting drums and echoing snaps. Though light synths and muted guitar (Alex Kaye from Valley Hush) are detectable, the ballad highlights a raw and prehistoric musical aesthetic – all driven by Anderson’s lyrics.

“From the tallest tree, I want to feel your heart beating. I want you more than a memory. I lay at your feet. I know it won’t be easy. I want you more than a memory.”
