It has been confirmed by UK publication The Guardian that Eminem will become Wembley Stadium’s first headlining rapper in the prestigious soccer venue’s history on July 11, 2014. This unprecedented appearance will mark Eminem’s first London headline show since 2001.

Eminem was scheduled to perform at London’s Hyde Park, but posted multiple images to Instagram on May 6 regarding the inability to make the performance work. The post was accompanied by the caption, “Never mind the bollocks…see you soon London.” (Playing off the design of the classic Sex Pistols album Never Mind the Bollocks.)

Wembley Stadium seats 90,000 people, contains more than 2,500 toilets, has a circumference of 1 km, and was home to the 2012 Summer Olympic soccer finals in London. Tickets for the upcoming London performance will be available on May 9.
