Dirtybird BBQ returns to Detroit on August 27 and 28 after last year’s absence. The “Double-D BBQ” will span two days and take place on Belle Isle. The barbecue party also boasts “County Fair” flair, bringing activities such as “Best in Show” contests, as well as carnival games and food.
The summer tour will be limited to San Francisco, Seattle, Detroit, Brooklyn, and Miami. Lineup is still TBA, but past lineups have included Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, J Phlip, and other Dirtybird fixtures. (Claude VonStroke recently celebrated the ten-year anniversary of his hit track, “Who’s Afraid of Detroit,” with a Movement afterparty.)
