Continuing his streak of non-solo, non-album-related projects — which will soon include a children’s book — Detroit emcee Danny Brown has brought his unmistakable voice to network television. Last night’s premiere of the new ABC sitcom Fresh Off the Boat featured Brown rapping the theme song.
The show is based on the memoirs of chef Eddie Huang, and there is already a Vice series of the same name created by Huang. Brown has appeared on that project as well. The rapper posted a snippet of the opening credits to Huang’s new show on his Instagram account, which you can view below:
