More than two months after the release of their self-titled LP, punk/garage quintet Mexican Knives have unveiled their visual component for the album’s second track – “Beach Song.”
“Dash-cam” encounters with everyday characters are carefully spliced with scenes from a blonde model’s lonely travels. Directed by Erin Barry, the group’s new release is part thoughtful forest journey, part weekday trip to the state park, but it’s all Mexican Knives. (Minus actual band members: Ruth, Zach, Josh, Blair and Tyler.)
