TV Lounge to celebrate eight-year anniversary Friday

Tonight, the Motor City celebrates the eight-year anniversary of TV Lounge.

Since TV first opened, the beloved venue in the heart of Detroit has hosted renowned artists from the city and beyond. Despite being relatively young, TV has established itself as an iconic tech-house venue. The level of intimacy, as well as top notch booking, draws crowds from around the world.

From Movement to Labor Day, TV moves the party outdoors – with upwards of two open-air stages, in addition to the indoor stage and a full bar. Be sure to catch one more patio set before summer is over as some of Detroit’s favorite DJs enjoy a “last call” at one of the best electronic venues in the city.

Tonight’s event features sets by residents Aran Daniels, Mike Petrack, Jeremy Kypta, Shady P, Mister Joshooa, Loren, and special guests Chuck Flask, Soren Kenny, Rickers, Dru Ruiz, Dan Wagner, and Clayton Jackson. As if you need any more reason than that, there will also be two secret guest performances. Feel free to arrive right after work, because the party starts at 6 p.m. (free before 9 p.m. for all attendees).

See you on the patio. (2548 Grand River Ave, Detroit, MI 48201)
