Silent Lions announce final performance

Heavy soul duo Silent Lions have announced that their last ever performance will be held on December 19, at the Ottawa Tavern in Toledo.

The Detroit-Toledo group, which consists of Dean Tartaglia and Matt Klein, revealed the message on the band’s Facebook page Wednesday, citing “legal and creative reasons” for the news. The duo also promised fans one last Silent Lions single release, and an interview outlining the true reasoning behind the group’s decision.

Though details have not been revealed, it is possible that the group’s name, and not the group itself, will ultimately be the only thing laid to rest. The duo’s final performance will also feature The Hard Lessons, Passalacqua and The Yugos.
