Detroit’s rock superstar Jack White is continuing his Lazaretto tour after suffering a badly-sprained ankle Friday, in California.

According to Third Man Records’ Instagram account, White was encouraged to postpone upcoming tour dates by his management team, due to his injury: White refused. Instead, he returned Saturday for his second performance at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, in San Francisco.

White played a 20-song set, including “Hello Operator” (White Stripes), “I Think I Smell a Rat” (White Stripes), “Message in a Bottle” (The Police), “Manic Depression” (The Jimi Hendrix Experience) and others.
