There has always been a strong music legacy here in Detroit. It was Motown. It was called ‘Rock City’ for a while. A lot of great rock artists came out of here as well. It’s just something about this city that stimulates musical progress. I can’t quite put my finger on exactly what it is. If I could, I would probably be able to bottle it and sell it.
